All entries must be in writing.

Entries in this department close the Friday before the fair at 4:00 PM. Articles to be exhibited may be brought in between 8:00 AM, and 4:00 PM the Monday before the fair. Entries will be judged Monday evening. Persons exhibiting must secure a membership ticket a cost of $15.00.

All fruits must have been grown by exhibitor labeled true to name, and exhibited on plates.

A plate shall consist of the following number of specimens according to the kind of fruit; five apples, eight crabapples, five pears, five peaches, ten plums, and four bunches of grapes.

All fruits must have stems left on.

Award Sponsors:

Premier Exhibitor in Horticulture award by Spanglers Landscaping, Morrison, IL.

Reserve Premier Exhibitor in Horticulture award by Amazing Vase Too, Prophetstown, IL. It will be awarded on a point basis-5 points for a first place, 3 for a second place, and 1 point a third place with an added 1 point for each entry made and creditably shown in Department K. Plates will be furnished by vegetable department.
