SANCTIONED SHOW

Erie Stewart, Secretary, Box 5667, Bloomington, IL 61702. Sanction fee - $10.00 – Dues Per Year - $20.00. 3 years - $50.00. Comb. H&W - $30.00 – 3 years - $75.00 – Family Membership - $20.00 plus – Youth $2.00 per year. Family Membership - $50.00 plus $6.00 per child for 3 years. ARBA 89th National Convention and Show Nov. 7-11, 2010 at Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The Whiteside County Rabbit Breeders Association, being a member of the American Rabbit Breeders Association, presents its 69th Annual Show. It will be governed by the last revised Official Show Rules of the American Breeders Association Inc.

All prizes will be awarded strictly in accordance with the American Standard Of Perfection.

1. This department is managed and directed by the Whiteside County Rabbit Breeders Association, Inc.

All entries in this department are subject to general rules in the front of the premium book.

ENTRIES CLOSE AUGUST 9 AND MUST BE POSTMARKED BEFORE MIDNIGHT ON THAT DATE TO BE ACCEPTED. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE IN WRITING. STOCK MUST BE IN THE SHOW ROOM BEFORE 10:00 AM, TUESDAY, AUGUST 17, 2010. This rule will be rigidly enforced. Judging is to start promptly at 6:00 PM on Tuesday. All specimens must be permanently earmarked.

2. EAR NUMBERS, BREED, VARIETY, AND CLASS NUMBER MUST APPEAR ON ENTRY BLANKS.

3. The Whiteside County Rabbit Breeders’ Association will not be responsible for loss in case of fire, accident, or providential destruction. Every precaution will be taken to eliminate any danger of mistake in the show and in the return of stock from the show.

4. Exhibitors will be allowed to display advertising and ribbons as soon as all judging is completed.

5. Special watchmen will be on duty all night, and special care will be given the exhibits at all times.

6. The Association reserves the right to reject any entries or entry from any exhibitor. All animals will be inspected and stock received in unsound condition will be returned at once.

7. No breeding will be allowed in show room. This rule will be rigidly enforced.

8. Each exhibitor is required to purchase a Membership Ticket costing $15.00. Helpers Passes will be issued on entries of 10 or more rabbits. Helper’s tickets are $10.00. This conforms to the rule for exhibitors in every department of the fair.

9. Entry fee: single rabbits and single fryers – 50 cents, plus 10 cents state fee and 60 cents for care for a total of $1.20. Fur class – 60 cents. Meat Pens – 50 cents, plus 50 cents state fee and 60 cents for care for a total of $1.60.

10. Premium numbers must appear on entry blanks for each class entered.

11. Premise I.D. # must be on entry form.

12. Mail entry blanks and remittance to secretary of Whiteside Fair.

13. No exhibitor may collect more than two premiums in any one class.

14. You will be notified of your winnings by the show secretary on Saturday, at 1:00 PM at which time premium checks, ribbons, and exhibitor reports will be handed out.

15. No animal will be awarded a premium unless in the judge’s opinion it is entitled to same. Judge's decision will be finial.

16. The Whiteside County Rabbit Breeders Association reserves the right to substitute another judge, should the one announced be unable to serve.

17. Rabbits may not be removed from the showroom until 1:00 PM Saturday. Any rabbits not picked up by the owner by 4:00 PM become the responsibility of the owner.

18. Substitutions will be allowed only in same class and sex. A meat pen is to consist of three rabbits of the same breed and must not be over 69 days old or weigh over five pounds each. All breeds listed will be breed sanctioned.

19. Trophy will be given for Best Rabbit in Show donated by Rock River Lumber & Grain, Prophetstown, IL. The Illinois State Rabbit Breeders Association, Norma Hart, Sec., 190 N. First Avenue, Coal City, IL offers sweepstakes trophies. Display points to count toward the sweepstakes trophies. Winners must be a member of the IRBA.

Premiums: 1^st-$5.00, 2^nd-$3.00, 3^rd-$2.00, 4^th-$1.00.

Best of Breed-$5.00,

Best Opposite Sex-$3.00.

Meat Pens: 1^st-$12.00, 2^nd-$8.00, 3^rd-$7.00, 4^th-$5.00, 5^th-$4.00.

Single Fryer: 1^st-$12.00, 2^nd-$8.00, 3^rd-$7.00, 4^th-$5.00, 5^th-$4.00

Fur: 1st-$5.00, 2nd-$3.00, 3rd-$2.00, 4th-$1.00
