All entries must be in writing.

Entries close 4 PM Saturday before the fair.

 

1.  All animals must be owned by the exhibitor.

 

2.  Registration papers must be available for all animals or proof must be given that they are in transit.

 

3.  No calves under three months of age are eligible for showing.  DRY COW-2 yrs. and older and had one calf or more.  Dry Cows cannot be entered in other individual classes.

 

4.  All dairy animals must be on the grounds by 1:00 PM Tuesday of the fair and will be released at 1:00 PM Saturday of the fair.  (Cows in milk may leave after the show or normal release time.)

 

5.  Health papers to be furnished meeting State of Illinois requirements.

 

6.  Animals owned by members of one family reside on the same farm may be combined to make one entry in the group classes.

 

7.  Animals can be shown by exhibitors from out of state and any county in Illinois.

 

8.  No exhibitor will be allowed to show more than two entries per class.

 

9.  Entrance fee is $4.00 per class.  Stall rent $2.00 per head.  Helper’s ticket is 10.00.  One Helper’s ticket

per five head of dairy cattle.

 

10.  Persons exhibiting must first secure a membership ticket for $15.00.  Do not enter champion classes on entry blank.

 

11. A daily camping fee of $12.00 will be charged.

 

12. All exhibitors must have a Premise I. D. number on the entry form.

 

13. All cow classes, animals must be in milk, except for the Junior 2 yr. olds in the 2 yr. old class.

 

14.  Anyone disposing of straw or manure in other than designated areas will forfeit premium money.  NO PAPER BEDDING.

 

15.  Exhibitors will not be permitted to leave early to go to any other fair.

 

 

A flatware set will be given to the best three females over all breeds, eligible each year.

 

Swiss Valley Milk Producers Association, Davenport, IA will award a trophy for the Supreme Champion female overall breeds.

 

Judging: Wednesday at 9:00 AM

1.  Only unmarried persons who are between 8 and 18 years of age as of September 1, 2010 are eligible to show in the Junior

      classes.

 

2.  Animals must be purebred and owned by the exhibitor.

 

3.  Limit of one entry per person in each class.

 

4.  Entry fee is $3.00 per class and stalls are $2.00 per head.

 

5.  All exhibitors must have a Premise I.D. number on the entry form.

 

6.  Registration papers must be available for all animals or proof must be given that they are in transit.

 

7.  No calves under 4 months are eligible for showing.

 

Judging will be Wednesday.
